Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information GLPro collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. GLPro handles sensitive health and wellness information, and we treat it with care. By using GLPro you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information You Provide

Account information such as your email address and password. Health and wellness data you choose to enter, including the GLP-1 or other medication you track, doses and injection logs, body weight and measurements, nutrition and food logs, hydration, workouts, steps and activity, photos you add, and check-ins or notes. You control what you enter, but the core features of GLPro depend on this data.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Basic technical and usage data needed to run and improve the app, such as device type, app version, crash diagnostics, and in-app events (for example, which screens you open or which features you use). We use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics events are tied to a user identifier so we can understand how features are used and fix problems.

3. Activity and Step Tracking

If you enable activity tracking, GLPro reads step and motion data from your device’s built-in sensors to show your daily activity. This data is processed to display your steps and is stored with your other wellness data. You can turn step tracking on or off at any time in Settings, and you can deny the underlying motion/fitness permission in your device settings.

4. AI Coaching

When you use the AI coach, relevant context from your tracked data (such as recent medication, weight, nutrition, and goals) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to generate a response to you. Your conversations are stored in your account so you can review them. We do not use your health data to train AI models, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Food and Nutrition Search

When you search for foods or scan a barcode, your search terms and barcode values may be sent to external nutrition databases — including the USDA FoodData Central API and Open Food Facts — to return matching food and nutrition information. These queries are used only to provide search results.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, which handles subscription status and entitlements. We and RevenueCat receive purchase and subscription information (such as whether you have an active subscription), but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

7. Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, our infrastructure provider, with row-level access controls that restrict your records to your account. Your login session is stored securely on your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

8. HIPAA and Health Information

GLPro is a consumer wellness app, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. We are not a “covered entity” or a “business associate” under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the health and wellness information you enter is generally not protected by HIPAA. We still treat your data as sensitive and protect it as described in this policy, but HIPAA’s specific rights and obligations do not apply to GLPro. If your provider or clinic gives you data covered by HIPAA, that protection stays with them, not with what you choose to enter here.

9. How We Share Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app — including Supabase (hosting and database), Anthropic (AI processing), Apple, Google, and RevenueCat (payments), PostHog (analytics), and the USDA and Open Food Facts services (food search) — and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can view and edit your data in the app at any time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data from within the app. Account deletion removes your data from our systems but does not cancel any active App Store or Google Play subscription — you must cancel that separately in your store settings. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or operational reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data; contact us to exercise them.

11. Children

GLPro is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
